Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using our website and the general basis on which we work with clients.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of https://www.saidbyte.com.ng and to enquiries you make through it. The website is operated by SaidByte Technologies, a business name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria under registration number BN 8380832. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, or use it to send spam or harmful content.

3. Our services

Information on this website describes what we offer in general terms and is not a binding offer. Each project is governed by a written proposal, quote or agreement that sets out the scope, timeline, price and deliverables. If anything in that document conflicts with these terms, the project document applies to that project.

4. Quotes, payments and timelines

  • Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote.
  • Payment terms, including any deposit and milestone payments, are set out in the project agreement.
  • Delivery dates depend on timely feedback, content and approvals from the client. Delays on the client side may move the timeline.
  • Work that falls outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

5. Ownership of work

Unless the project agreement says otherwise, ownership of the custom code and deliverables we build for a client passes to the client once the agreed fees have been paid in full. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and of products we operate ourselves, such as SaidByte School ERP, which is provided on a subscription basis.

Clients are responsible for making sure they have the rights to any content, logos, images and data they supply to us.

6. Confidentiality

We treat non-public information that clients share with us about their business as confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed work.

7. Our website content

The text, design, logos and other content on this website belong to SaidByte Technologies or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or business reference, but you may not copy or republish our content for commercial use without written permission. Project screenshots and testimonials are shown with the permission of the relevant clients.

8. Third-party links and services

This site links to third-party websites and platforms such as WhatsApp, social networks and review sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is" and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, SaidByte Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Liability for project work is governed by the relevant project agreement. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be settled by discussion will be subject to the courts of Lagos State.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
